Rabbimap 1.3

Rabbimap is a newly developed application designed to assist users in locating and navigating to kevarim, graves of Tzadikim and Rabbanim. The app provides real-time information on the nearest kevarim, allowing users to customize distance measurements in miles or kilometers within the settings.

With Rabbimap, users gain access to over 1,000 grave locations spanning 35 countries, categorized into five main geographic regions: Israel (400 kevarim), Europe (350), Morocco (200), North Africa (70), and the Middle East (40). Plans for expansion into the Americas are currently underway.

Rabbimap is particularly valuable for offering precise directions in lesser-known areas and remote locations such as small villages in Morocco or Eastern Europe. While the app accurately pinpoints the locations of kevarim in varying environments, it does not cover all cemetery sites.

The Rabbimap team has diligently identified exact coordinates for prominent graves like Ezra Hasofer, Yechezkiel, and Nachum in Iraq, as well as Aaron Hatzadik in Jordan. These efforts reflect extensive research and dedication to providing reliable geographical data.

Furthermore, Rabbimap provides dual GPS options through Apple Maps and Google Maps integration. Users also have the flexibility to utilize their preferred GPS services for navigation. Detailed instructions on using these functionalities are available in Rabbimap's manual.

One standout feature of Rabbimap is its sharing function, enabling users to upload photos, videos, and comments within the Rabbimap community. This fosters a sense of shared experiences and knowledge exchange among users throughout their pilgrimages.
